We are constantly striving to produce our pieces as ethically as possible and try to support other businesses that follow a similar ethos as much as we can. We are therefore very proud to announce that we are contributing to A Mindful Moment, an event organised by Khoollect, taking place on Thursday 2nd February.
With all the uncertainty in the world at the moment it seems a perfect time to take stock of what is important and that is exactly what this event is hoping to promote. Centred on an idea of mindful practices, sustainability, minimalism and happiness, Khoollect are presenting four experts to speak at Habitat’s King’s Road Platform space.
We were asked by Maria Stone - founder and editor in chief of Miel Magazine - to get involved and although we cannot attend as this is a very busy time of year for us, we have some of our ethical pieces on show. Maria will be providing insights on conscious, sustainable living and will use some of our ethical ranges to highlight how consumers can put together a ‘keepable’, responsible wardrobe.
This looks like a really interesting event and will also feature talks by food waste app founder Saasha Celestial-One, happiness consultant Samantha Clarke, and Emily Mitchell from The Mindfulness Project.
Tickets to the event are available here - A Mindful Moment - and all profits will be donated to Mind, the mental health charity.
